Apple Original Films has released the trailer for Tenzing , director Jennifer Peedom's film about Tenzing Norgay and the 1953 Everest expedition. The studio announcement sets October 9, 2026 for select cinemas and October 16 for a global Apple TV premiere. The cinema date is a limited release, so check local listings

before planning a screening. Genden Phuntsok plays Norgay opposite Tom Hiddleston as Edmund Hillary. Apple also names Thinley Lhamo as Norgay's wife Dawa, Caitríona Balfe as expedition secretary Jill Henderson and Willem Dafoe as Colonel John Hunt.
