Princess Mononoke's 4K remaster starts five days of US screenings

GKIDS and Fathom schedule the remaster for September 26–30, with dubbed and subtitled shows on different days.

The 4K remaster of Princess Mononoke begins its five-day US Studio Ghibli Fest run on Saturday, September 26 . GKIDS' official festival schedule sets out which screenings use the English dub and which use the original Japanese audio with subtitles. Independent anime calendar Yatta-Tachi also lists the September 26–30

window. The scheduled dubbed shows are Saturday at 3 p.m. , Sunday at 3 and 7 p.m. , and Wednesday, September 30 at 7 p.m. The subtitled shows are Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29, both at 7 p.m. Those times are local to each participating cinema . GKIDS says Ghibli Fest screenings include extra content,

but does not specify that content for this film in the festival slate. If the language version matters, choose a dated show rather than assuming every cinema offers both options on the same day. Check Fathom's film listing or the participating cinema before booking; GKIDS notes that theatre participation can change.

The announcement concerns US cinemas , and does not establish a UK or worldwide 4K theatrical release on these dates.
