Pokémon Team Masters brings three-player TCG teams to Seoul

The new Pokémon card tournament debuts in Seoul January 23–24, 2027, with applications open for three-player teams.

Pokémon has announced a new three-player team competition for its physical trading card game. The first Pokémon Team Masters is scheduled for January 23–24, 2027 , at KINTEX 1 Hall 1–2 in Seoul, South Korea, according to the official Japanese announcement. The English-language Pokémon Trainers notice describes teams of

three facing one another in 3v3 battles. It lists applications from September 28 at 14:00 through October 23 at 12:00, both UTC+9. The first edition is a TCG event; it is not a tournament for the digital Pokémon TCG Pocket app. The organiser lists English, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Thai and

Traditional Chinese among eligible card languages. Eligibility, registration rules and any travel support need to be checked on the event's current official application page before entering. The Singapore notice separately describes an invitation and travel award for its top local ranking player; that benefit should
