Pokémon TCG Pocket's Ruler of the Skies takes off with Mega Rayquaza ex
Ruler of the Skies arrives in Pokémon TCG Pocket on July 29 with Mega Rayquaza ex, deck-sharing codes, and a summer run of collection events.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket's next expansion, Ruler of the Skies , launches Wednesday, July 29 at 6:00 p.m. PDT. The set's headline arrival is Mega Rayquaza ex, giving the mobile game a new flying centrepiece just as its summer events begin. The fixed service time is worth noting outside North America: the launch
is 2:00 a.m. BST on Thursday, July 30 for the UK, with local equivalents for Europe, Australia, and other regions. The in-game news screen remains the authority if a regional rollout shifts. A new expansion with useful deck tools The official Pokémon announcement promises more than new cards. Players will be able to
share decks with other players through 2D pattern codes, making it easier to show a list or copy a friend's build without reproducing every card by hand. The card dex is also getting a practical correction. When a card appears in more than one booster pack, obtaining it will register the card for every relevant pack,
including cards already collected. Pokémon says the change is intended to make the collection view match the way the packs actually overlap. There is a further high-rarity guarantee: after certain conditions are met while opening a booster, the next pack from that expansion guarantees a four-diamond-or-higher card. The
exact conditions are shown in the in-game news once Ruler of the Skies is live. The summer events extend beyond launch day Pokémon has laid out a run of linked events from late July into August. Collection missions award Trainer cards including Leaf, Sabrina, and Red; login and battle missions provide booster packs and
other items; and an emblem event will reward wins against other players in early to mid-August. Community Week adds trading and sharing rewards, while the Mega Houndoom ex Drop Event and wonder pick events arrive later in August with promo packs and cards such as Pachirisu and Beldum. Deluxe Pack: ex boosters are also
scheduled to return. When to open the first pack Ruler of the Skies is a digital expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket on iOS and Android. The safest plan is to check the in-game news at the published service time, then use the deck-sharing codes and event missions to decide which cards to chase before spending extra
hourglasses or other resources.
