Pulsatrix Studios has released Otherside Tapes: Favela, the first episode of a new horror anthology. Set in Rio de Janeiro in 2006, it follows Cláudio, a young content creator investigating disappearances in an abandoned favela. The first-person adventure uses a found-footage presentation, environmental exploration and
puzzles. Pulsatrix says the setting draws on Brazilian favela details and cultural references, while shifting realities complicate the investigation into what happened at Favela das Almas. The studio positions Otherside Tapes as a collection of different stories, settings and approaches to horror. Favela is the
released opening episode; that franchise ambition does not establish dates or contents for subsequent instalments. The Steam launch announcement also advertises a temporary discount, so readers should check their local store for the price and current offer rather than assume a universal amount.
