Necromunda Roleplay turns the underhive into a miniatures-driven RPG
Games Workshop's newly revealed core set combines four player characters, adversaries, two adventures and a 224-page rulebook.
Games Workshop's 18 September reveal gives Necromunda Roleplay a separate identity from the new Necromunda Skirmish core set. This is a miniatures-driven roleplaying game in which a group of bounty-hunting Venators takes jobs from an Arbitrator, who presents scenes and adjudicates the rules. Its stories can move from
the underhive into the ash wastes. The box introduces four named player archetypes: an Escher Assassin, Orlock Gunslinger, Squat Fixer and Goliath Champion. They have ready-to-play rules and alternative builds. Five adversary miniatures and eight configurable Hive Scum bring the total to 18 new plastic miniatures, and
Games Workshop says the game is compatible with the wider Necromunda miniature range. The 224-page rulebook covers character creation, advancement and two complete adventures. Two double-sided battle mats, 11 player handouts and an Arbitrator screen round out the starter material. Combat will be familiar to Skirmish
players, while D10 and D100 rolls support the broader roleplay actions. The reveal describes the contents and intended play style, but does not give a release date or local price. Those remain details to confirm before arranging a campaign or purchase. Headline image: official Necromunda Roleplay preview artwork, Games
