Reality Fracture prerelease starts tomorrow: what is in the pack

Magic's local-store prerelease opens 25 September with six Play Boosters, a foil promo, deck box and spindown die for 40-card sealed play.

Reality Fracture moves from previews to local tables on Friday 25 September. Magic: The Gathering prerelease events begin at participating game stores a week ahead of the set's 2 October worldwide release. Wizards of the Coast's prerelease guide says each pack contains six Play Boosters, a traditional foil promo card,

a deck box and a spindown die. Players build a 40-card sealed deck from those cards and any number of basic lands. This is a store event, so session times, entry fees and remaining places depend on the individual venue. The guide recommends sorting the pool by colour, identifying reliable threats and removal, then

checking the mana curve before sleeving a deck. Its sample curve uses 17 lands. The set also has ten two-colour draft archetypes, which can suggest synergies without guaranteeing that a sealed pool will contain every ideal card. New players can treat the event as an introduction to opening and building from a limited
