Love Is in the Blood is returning to Channel 4.0 on 30 September. Channel 4 confirmed today that creator Adeola Patronne will again act as matchmaker, this time for eight hopeful singles paired through a blood donation appointment. The premise has an unusual practical detail: in each pair, one participant has donated

blood before and the other is doing it for the first time. They answer questions on opposite sides of a divider while donating, then choose whether to meet face to face. That decision gives the series its dating-show suspense while keeping the experience of donation visible. Where to watch The second series is due on

the Channel 4.0 YouTube channel, with highlights planned for TikTok and Meta platforms. Channel 4 has not described it as a linear television premiere. Word on the Curb produces the series, and NHS Blood and Transplant remains its partner. The first series won branded-content awards at the Broadcast Digital Awards and
