Legion of the Damned returns in Kill Team: Armageddon

The Legion of the Damned is returning to the tabletop in Kill Team: Armageddon . Games Workshop's 18 September Autumn Preview shows the flame-wreathed Space Marines confronting an elite Ork Boss Nobz Mob amid ruined vehicles and buildings on Armageddon. The reveal gives the Legion a distinctive play idea rather than

just a new set of miniatures. Their ghostly operatives begin slower and less forceful than ordinary Space Marines; as turning points pass, they solidify their connection to the battlefield and grow more powerful. Games Workshop says it will discuss the detailed Kill Team and Warhammer 40,000 rules closer to release, so

the preview is an outline rather than a full rules reference. The opposing Boss Nobz are first available in this box. Its Killzone: Armageddon terrain includes two bunkers with close-quarters rules, ruins and wrecks including a Redemptor Dreadnought and Rogal Dorn Battle Tank. Datacards and an Armageddon Dossier

provide the two teams' rules and story background. No release date or price accompanies this reveal.
