Dusthollow brings survival rules to an indie Old West RPG
A first-time creator is crowdfunding a 200-plus-page d20 game with Grit, Reputation and a Water timer through October 1.
The solo-created Dusthollow RPG is crowdfunding its Old West tabletop rules until October 1, 2026 at 02:56 UTC. Its official BackerKit campaign describes a 200-plus-page d20 game set around Wyoming and Dakota in 1873, combining frontier journeys, train heists and supernatural threats. Grit, Reputation and water The
project highlights Grit and Reputation as character systems and a Water timer that makes scarcity part of travel. Those are the creator's stated design features; there is not yet an independently reviewed final rulebook to assess how they play at the table. Art and production status The campaign identifies this as a
first-time creator's project. It says funding will help commission illustrations for the rulebook and future zines and promises no AI art. That means some final artwork is still to be made. Check the current campaign page for rewards, delivery estimates and any updated production schedule before backing. Headline
