Disney Lorcana's Attack of the Vine prerelease starts a week early
Attack of the Vine's July 17 prerelease brings six boosters, a promo, and two quick ways to play to local game stores.
Disney Lorcana: Attack of the Vine! begins its prerelease at local game stores today, July 17, giving players an early way to open the set and try its new characters and mechanics before the wider retail release on July 24. Ravensburger's official guide positions the prerelease as both a first look and a social event.
Players can check the Play Hub for a nearby store and sign up ahead of time where registration is available. What comes in the prerelease box Each Attack of the Vine! Prerelease Box contains six booster packs, four damage dice, an exclusive poster, and one random promo card. That is enough material to jump straight
into a sealed build, while the dice and promo give the event its own small set of extras. The six boosters can also be used for Pack Rush, a faster format that needs only two packs. It is a practical option for newer players or anyone who wants a shorter first session with the new set. Two formats to know before you
sit down In Sealed, the six boosters become the card pool for a 40-card deck. Players can use cards from all six inks, and the usual four-glimmer-per-deck limit does not apply to this format. Pack Rush uses 24 cards, starts with five cards instead of seven, and lowers the winning target to 15 lore. The format also uses
the marketing card from each pack as ink, keeping the match quick while still introducing the set's play patterns. Monsters, Teams, and the vine The set brings Monsters, Inc. , Up , and Turning Red into the game alongside the new Team classification. Combo Shift and Duo Shift give Team cards different ways to enter
play, while Temporary Shift lets some red panda cards return to hand at the end of the turn. Vinelings add another angle: these copies of glimmers can support Floodborn characters. It is a small preview of how the set's story and mechanics are meant to grow together before Attack of the Vine! reaches stores everywhere
on July 24.
