Bad Trip: NYC demo adds Witch contracts and an experience-driven card system
Bad Trip: NYC's demo update turns marked street corners into distinct contracts. Players break gangs, interrupt ritual callers, chase fleeing couriers and confront champions that require the game's smoke mechanic. Jobs inside clubs can interrupt the music and draw bouncers when fighting escalates.
Bad Trip: NYC's demo update turns marked street corners into distinct contracts. Players break gangs, interrupt ritual callers, chase fleeing couriers and confront champions that require the game's smoke mechanic. Jobs inside clubs can interrupt the music and draw bouncers when fighting escalates. A new experience bar
fills through kills and bonuses for clearing gangs, waves and streets. Cards now arrive through level-ups, replacing unexplained deals. Combat presentation gains stronger impacts and revised enemy movement, while gamepad support extends across menus and aiming. Split-screen card screens also distinguish the two players
correctly. The city receives additional music, more varied crowds and a new skyline, with a subway-route choice protected against accidental skipping. Read the official announcement. Official game details. Image: GeekZoneCouch via official Steam store screenshot. Official image source.
