Sam Kieth

Sam Kieth was a native Californian who broke into the comic book business by getting attention for co-creating and illustrating ***The Sandman*** for DC Comics. Kieth went on to work for Marvel Comics, where he illustrated ***Wolverine*** covers and stories for *Marvel Comics Presents*. In 1993 Kieth created ***The

Maxx***, for Image Comics. ***The Maxx*** was adapted into an animated series for MTV’s Liquid Television in 1995 and went on to win an Annie award for Best Animated series.
