Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG's October 1 card restrictions take effect in Japan
Konami's Japan OCG list bans three formerly limited cards and removes restrictions from five others.
Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Official Card Game limit regulation list dated October 1, 2026, now applies in Japan. PSY-Framelord Omega, Dimension Shifter and Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom move from Limited to Forbidden under this OCG list. Five cards have their limits removed: Elder Entity Norden, Diabellstar the Black
Witch, Mathmech Circular, Mind Master and Metamorphosis. The official page also records new Limited and Semi-Limited entries, including Elfnote Tinia, Elfnote Lucina and Sky Striker Mobilize - Engage!. Players should check the full list before changing a deck. This is the Japanese OCG regulation, not an announcement
for every regional Yu-Gi-Oh! format. Konami's official October 1 list gives the complete card table and status changes. Headline image: Konami / Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG. Official promotional artwork.
