The Witcher 3 Remastered reaches Switch 2 September 29 with a free owner upgrade

CD Projekt Red says existing Switch owners can claim the remaster at no extra cost; physical owners wait until launch day.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is scheduled for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 29 . CD PROJEKT RED's platform announcement says owners of the original Switch edition can claim the new version without an additional charge. Digital owners can arrange the free preorder now; owners of physical copies must wait for

launch to claim the upgrade. New buyers get the base game plus the already released Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. The company says the Switch 2 release improves performance and visual fidelity. Those are publisher claims ahead of the release, so we are not treating them as independently measured
