WEBTOON's Global Drop opens with The Warrior's Ballad in nine languages

The fantasy webcomic launched across nine language services on September 19, giving WEBTOON's simultaneous-release programme its first title.

WEBTOON Entertainment has started its Global Drop programme with The Warrior's Ballad , a fantasy webcomic released on 19 September across nine language services. Chinese versions. This is the group's first simultaneous serial launch across all nine services. One release window for international readers Global Drop is designed to coordinate translation, marketing and operations so readers in different regions can begin the same serial without a long localisation gap. says it also hopes that prompt official versions will support creators and reduce unauthorised distribution; those are the company's aims, not measured results from this first launch. The new comic adapts a web novel by Dodongpa, with adaptation by namwoong and art by Street Bard. Its protagonist was used as a weapon

of war, died, and is reborn a century later as a boy carrying memories of his former life. The premise gives the launch a clear fantasy hook while the cross-language release is the publishing news.
