Paper Rex beat Team Liquid 2–1 and G2 swept TYLOO 2–0 in the first Group C matches; the winners meet September 29.

Group C produced two different opening wins at VALORANT Champions Shanghai on 24 September. Paper Rex came through a three-map series against Team Liquid, 2–1, while G2 Esports defeated TYLOO 2–0.
