Sweet Shop opens its digital comics app to the public

The comics and manga storefront has moved out of its invite phase; check purchase, backup and device details before using it.

Sweet Shop has opened its digital comics and manga service to public users after its invite phase. The official site now presents a storefront and reader, while the iOS app listing offers a direct way to check device support and the current app version. The service says readers can buy individual works, use offline

reading and access backup downloads for participating publishers. That last condition matters: a DRM-free backup should not be assumed for every title in the catalogue. Check each purchase's format, territory and publisher terms before buying. The public opening is a distribution development for both independent and
