Solo developer Djentsoft has revealed a sci-fi airport management game where imported cargo drives a colony's growth; a playtest is targeted for Q4 2026.

A new Steam page gives Spaceport Architect its first public shop window, with Swedish solo developer Joachim Arting building a sci-fi take on airport management. The game is still in development and is not available to play yet; Djentsoft's press kit currently targets a Q4 2026 playtest, a Q2 2027 demo and a Q4 2027

release. Its central management loop ties freight to passenger traffic. Players import supplies to grow a colony, then use that population to attract passengers and keep the spaceport's finances moving. The Steam listing also describes scheduling ships, designing terminals and handling unexpected service requests. That

cargo dependency gives this more than a space-themed reskin of an airport sim: the port has to keep a remote settlement supplied as it expands. Arting says the project has been in development for ten months alongside his full-time programming job. In his developer post on r/IndieDev, he credits community members with

helping on capsule art and translations. The official press kit identifies the project as a one-person studio effort made with Godot and C# and lists Windows as its current platform. The store page is therefore useful for following progress, but it is not a playable demo or a release-date confirmation. For players

weighing whether the logistics premise is their sort of management game, Djentsoft has also posted an announcement trailer. COGconnected independently covered the Steam-page reveal, while the latest platform and timing details above come from the developer's fact sheet. Headline image: Screenshot by Djentsoft, from the
