Writer Tim Roberts and comic artist Ezequiel Rubio Lancho are funding Rabbit Stew , a planned 40-page Southern Gothic horror comic. The creator's BackerKit campaign closes October 1, 2026 at 20:00 UTC . A farm between two worlds Set in 1959, the first issue follows Eden Wade, a young woman caught between a changing

world and something ancient in the woods near her family's struggling farm. The campaign describes this instalment as a complete story within a larger planned series and offers digital and softcover editions. Its sample linework is credited to Lancho. Artwork is still being made The creator says the campaign funds will

pay Lancho to draw the comic's pages during October through December. A digital edition is targeted before Christmas, with physical copies possibly following in January 2027.
