Oni brings two very different Archie #1 variants to Baltimore Comic-Con

The 500-copy Shawn Kuruneru cover is a convention exclusive; Mike Wieringo's tribute cover is reserved for Ringo Awards gift bags.

Oni Press has brought two distinct Archie #1 variants to Baltimore Comic-Con, September 25–27 . The convention cover drawn by Shawn Kuruneru is limited to 500 copies , according to The Beat's September 11 reveal. Comic Crusaders says it is offered at the convention exclusives booth. The print run establishes the

edition size, but does not guarantee a copy will still be available when a visitor arrives. The other cover is a Mike Wieringo tribute for the 2026 Ringo Awards . It brings his rarely seen 2007 redesigns of Archie and Jughead into print. The reported distribution is much narrower: it is only in gift bags for Ringo

Awards attendees and will not be sold at retail . It should not be confused with Kuruneru's 500-copy convention-booth variant, and neither source gives a public retail route for the Wieringo edition. The new ongoing Archie series is written by Ben H. Winters and illustrated by Fábio Moon . Oni also scheduled an Archie

panel for Saturday, September 26 at 2 p.m. in Rooms 343–344 , followed by its publisher panel at 5 p.m. in Room 337 , as reported by The Beat. The convention's official information confirms the September 25–27 dates and Baltimore Convention Center venue. Attendees should check the event programme and booth stock for
