New York Art Book Fair opens with more than 300 publishers and exhibitors

Printed Matter's New York Art Book Fair begins its twentieth-anniversary edition at MoMA PS1 on Thursday, September 24. books, zines and artist-led editions are the fair's centre of gravity. Its programme also includes readings, signings, launches and project spaces, so a visit can be more than browsing tables. The first evening offers an early look at the exhibitors, while the weekend gives readers more time with small publishers and

makers. The official visitor page lists MoMA PS1 at 22-25 Jackson Avenue, Queens. Opening-night admission is $60; listed general-day admission is $10. The organiser recommends advance registration because of capacity and notes that no one will be turned away solely for lack of funds. Accessibility information and the
