Muramasa: Revenant Blades sets February 4 release with six playable stories

Vanillaware’s remastered action RPG combines Muramasa: Rebirth and Genroku Legends, adds English voices and includes a classic mode.

Muramasa: Revenant Blades will launch on February 4, 2027. Marvelous has detailed how the remastered action RPG brings Muramasa: Rebirth and its Genroku Legends side stories into one package. The six protagonists’ stories can be played in any order. Sword forging, character training and skill selection feed into the

combat, with mastered skills available to assign for ground and aerial use. New English voice acting joins the refreshed presentation. A gallery, character viewer and replay mode provide ways to revisit the artwork, animation and story events. A separate classic mode preserves the earlier gameplay approach with

enhanced graphics. For returning players, the combination of the main adventure and side stories is the central practical detail: this is a remastered collection with additional features, rather than an announcement of a newly written seventh campaign.
