Magic: The Gathering’s Reality Fracture launches alongside card-rule clarifications

The set releases October 2; Wizards’ bulletin clarifies new Jace text and several card interactions.

Magic: The Gathering — Reality Fracture releases globally on October 2. Wizards of the Coast’s set archive frames the expansion around Jace reshaping the Multiverse, with mirrored and fractured treatments for its cards. The launch follows a September 21 update bulletin clarifying the set’s rules and card text. Among

the notes, the bulletin explains the new “empower Jace” wording and how mana from Generator Servant or Arena of Glory can be spent to give a creature haste. It also changes Charmed Pendant ’s restriction to reminder text after a rules update means the ability no longer counts as a mana ability. These are rules

clarifications tied to the set’s release, separate from the previously announced Arena Direct Collector Booster offering. Consult the official update bulletin for full card-by-card wording and the set archive for release information. Headline illustration: Filip Burburan / Wizards of the Coast promotional artwork.
