MK Indie Book Fair brings 100 authors and small presses to Middleton Hall

Milton Keynes' independent book fair returns on Saturday, September 26, with Middleton Hall at centre:mk set to host around 100 independently published authors and small presses. Admission is free, and the listed hours are 10:30am to 5pm. Books, talks and young readers The organisers describe a mix stretching from

fantasy and science fiction to mystery, memoir, poetry and children's writing. Live readings will run through the day, while main-stage conversations include worldbuilding across speculative genres and the role of small presses and self-published writers. A children's area is scheduled from 11am to 4pm; accompanying

adults are required. For readers, the appeal is direct conversation with the people who made the books.
