Metal Slug Ultimate Collection will bring together ten games, including the first title’s previously unreleased location-test version. Producer Shiro Mukaide detailed its Xbox features in a September 11 announcement. Classic games and a test build Planned assists include rewind, quick saves, mission selection and

adjustable settings. Combat School, rankings, replays, an art gallery and a music player are also included, although available modes vary between games. Nintendo separately lists the collection for Switch and Switch 2 in 2027. The test build is a distinct draw for players interested in how the original arcade game
