Fantagraphics collects Joe Matt’s complete autobiographical Peepshow comics

The 464-page hardcover gathers all 14 original issues, the posthumous 2024 issue and archive material when it goes on sale September 29.

Fantagraphics will publish the first complete hardcover collection of Joe Matt’s Peepshow on September 29. The publisher’s listing says the 464-page volume reproduces all 14 issues originally released between 1992 and 2006, alongside a fifteenth issue published after Matt’s death in 2023. The autobiographical series is

known for Matt’s deliberately uncomfortable self-portrait, which turns his relationships, Catholic upbringing and compulsions into confessional comedy. This edition also includes material from his personal archive and an afterword by editor and longtime friend Diana Schutz. It is a mature work; readers should check the
