Global Grassroots Cup 2 runs September 26–27 as part of the route to Halo Fest's Halo Infinite Open 4v4 . The official Halo Fest competition FAQ names this cup, Cups 1 and 3, and two DreamHack events as points sources. It says those points will heavily influence qualification for the $20,000 Open 4v4 . That Open is

distinct from Halo Fest's $150,000 invitational . The latter uses direct invitations rather than a points threshold, so a Grassroots Cup performance should not be described as qualifying a team for the invitational. Halo also says older DreamHack points are decayed by 90% for the Open calculation. The weekend
