KANAWO's dragon-training roguelite has reached its full Steam release after an early-access period that began in June 2025.

DRAPLINE has made the jump from early access to a full Steam release. Developer KANAWO's pixel-art roguelite centres on raising a dragon girl whose appetite is almost limitless, then training her to face a catastrophe after one in-game year. Feeding is a strategy system as well as a joke. The Steam description says

different things she eats improve different abilities, while skills can be combined into a build for the final challenge. Its character-focused presentation sits beside multiple endings and repeat runs. Vaka Game Magazine publishes the game. Steam lists 23 September 2026 as the full release date and 29 June 2025 as the

start of early access. That distinction matters for returning players: this week's milestone is the completed release, not the game's first public appearance. A demo is also listed for anyone who wants to test the unusual training loop before deciding whether to continue. Headline image: KANAWO / Vaka Game Magazine;
