Control Resonant lets players adjust difficulty without losing trophies

Remedy has detailed expanded Assist Mode settings for Control Resonant, including options that increase difficulty as well as reduce it.

Control Resonant will let players change its challenge through an expanded Assist Mode without disabling trophies or achievements. Remedy detailed the options ahead of the September 24 PS5 launch. Settings include enemy aggression, incoming damage and the timing window for a perfect dodge. Players can start with a

preset and then adjust individual values to suit them. The options can also make the game harder, with more aggressive enemies, greater damage and tighter dodge timing. For players who need more substantial assistance, Remedy describes immortality and one-hit options alongside adjustments to recovery and melee

targeting. Settings can be changed during play. The useful distinction is that access to story progression and trophy collection is not tied to preserving the default difficulty. Players can adapt the experience when a particular encounter becomes a barrier, or raise the challenge when they want more demanding combat.
